
Ingredients :
1. All purpose flour - 1 cup
2. Unsweetened coco powder - 1/2 cup
3. Baking powder - 1 tsp
4. Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
5.Salt - 1/4 tsp
6.Sugar - 3/4th cup ( powdered)
7.Egg - 2
8.Unsalted butter - 1/4 cup (melted)
9.Vegetable oil - 1/4 cup
10.Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
11. Milk - 1/4 cup
12. Chocolate pudding - 1( optional)
Method :
* Seive the flour,coco powder,baking soda, baking powder,salt and sugar and mix well.
* Add the eggs, then add the melted butter and mix well
* Add the veg. oil, vanilla extract, chocolate pudding, and lastly milk
*Mix well with a whisk and then using a spatula to remove lumps ( if any )
* Fill each cupcake liner 2/3rd full & bake in a pre heated oven at 160 c - 20- 25 mins
* Allow cupcakes to cool before icing.
Butter cream icing :
Butter - 1/2 cup
Powdered sugar - 4 cups
Vanilla extract - 2 tsp
Milk - ( 1- 2 tsp to thicken if its too thick )
Method:
* wisk the butter and sugar till it becomes thick
( Note: add sugar in batches of 2/ 3 when whisking )
then add the desired colour to the above to ice the cupcakes.
( Note: In this recipie i have mentioned to add chocolate pudding to the batter. it is optional you can make d cake even without adding the pudding)
